OK, finally a tiring week was finally over and today marks the beginning of another new (but hope not) tiring week. Took half day off on thurs as i did not feel well on my way to work. Do not understamd why i started tearing when my mother called me upon receiving my sms and she was trying to convince me to go home immediately, in a very worried tone. Left eyelid began to hurt like no one on fri.
On sat night, met sian to go to a new student's house together for the first lesson as from what sian said, she was a very witty kid. It was quite horrible that night. Firstly, we were LOST. It took us a long time to get to her house. Her condo was so inaccessible and we did something stupid at the entrance of the condo when we were finding our ways in. Even the security laughed at us. It was so malu. Secondly, her house had three (cute-to-them) dogs but (scary-for-us) dogs. Thirdly, the girl was different from other students/kids. I guess she had almost everything that she wanted and it took a long time for me and sian to find something she liked in order to motivate her. And we were not sure if this works as well. That girl would speak in an unnatural tone. I bet she did it purposely as when we were at certain topics that she would like to share with us, she would change back to her usual way of speaking unknowingly. Could you believe she wear night lens? I never even hear of it before. I guess i am a noob. For the entire tow and a half session of "tuition" , we chatted for like the whole of two plus hrs and only perhaps 10 plus mins on studies. We tried ways and means to get her to just read sentence and it was really that tough. I forsee a tough time ahead.
Reason for her to behave in this particular way, perhaps is due to the fact that her parents and maid dote her to a very large extent as she is the only child. She seems to have everything under the world. Unlike her, my parents would not have spared the rod if i was supposed to behave in such a manner. Seriously, i wonder how it was like being her classmates or friends? Speaking of classmates, I see OSTRACIZM in her. She told us she had a stinky and disgusting classmate. She did not buy class photos all along as she did not want to see her stinky friend. There's this particular year in which she bought the class photo and the reason that she bought was this particular stinky friend was not inside the photo. That was very mean i must say. Now, i understand why sian said her mother was really desperate in getting her a tuition teacher cum "nanny". She wants us to teach her some moral values. I am not confident how long this can last.
Well, ok. Sijia will be on leave this four days as she had NUS camp to go for. :( New perm staff came in today. Went for lunch (subway) with the new perm staff (Li Jing), Jan and Genevene. I love subway :) hehe.
And last fri, we were lost on our way back to office from Anchor point. Took the wrong shuttle bus. So malu once again.
This sat, i am going to meet sk and others! whee. My only motivation for this week. How pathetic it was. Tired to the max for almost everyday due to work and tuitions. Boo. I hope little prof could find a tutor to substitute me as soon as possible.
